Our house

Well we had a great weekend full of fun that I will be sure to blog about tomorrow, but tonight my excitement about our house won out over my sleepiness and I just had to post these pictures really quickly.We stopped by the house today and were surprised to find so much done. Look, we have a house! Alan was asleep in the van when we got there, so I went in first to check everything out. Our house was so beautiful (to me) that I actually started crying a little (maybe it was just pregnancy hormones). At least until the robin that has managed to get itself stuck in the house flew into a window and startled me. I guess now we can't say that no animals were harmed in the building of this house. We all tried to help it to get outside, but that seemed to just make things worse. Anyway, in this picture you can see Scott and Emma standing in the doorway.

This may be silly, but I was so happy to see one of my doors. I love these doors and picked them out just for my home. I think they look like homey doors.

Here is our fireplace. You can also see our tub in the middle of the family room. I think we may decide to keep it there. I think it would give the house a really great spa feel.

And this is about where the kitchen island will be looking toward the stairs and the entry way. Look, we have stairs.
