We Now Have Grass

The day we got our sod was crazy. I woke up sick, it had rained all night, and the wind was intense. Lucky for us not too long after we got started laying the sod, a lot of people came to help us get the job down.

Before

after (can you tell it was a little bit stormy?)

Other than the fear that at any moment a large object would come hurling down the street at me we also got to enjoy the challenge of trying to lay sod on mud that was more like soup that ground. It was so awesome.

Now we just need to finish the back, build up the flower beds, get trees, bushes, and flower and get all the weeds out from the over side of the drive way.

Emma's last day of school!!!

School is out for the summer (actually it has been out since the 4th) and Emma is so excited to be going on to first grade in the fall. For the last few weeks before school let out they kept getting the kids ready for first grade. It was so cute almost every day Emma would come home and tell me what first graders do.

There she is...Emma getting off the kindergarten bus for the last time. My baby baby is getting so big!! (tear)

Alan's Last T-ball Game

Well t-ball season is over and it was actually sunny for his last game. Seriously, it seemed like it always got windy, rainy, or cold for every game.
Alan got pretty good over the course of the season and even hit the ball off the pitch and not the tee both times at bat.
After the game that gave all the boys a medal. Alan has been wearing his a lot.

Alan's Preschool Program

Alan had his school program and last day of school on May 19th. His program was so cute and he did really well on all the songs.
After they sang and danced, they had a little graduation ceremony.

As each kid came up to get their certificate they read a few questions and answers about that child. Here are Alan's:

-What do you want to be when you grow up? A doctor.
-What was your favorite thing about preschool? Play with my friend, Eddie.
-What are you afraid of? I'm not afraid of anything.
-What makes you happy? Dragons.
-What is your favorite thing to do? Play games with my dad.
-What will you do this summer? I don't know
