Home Sweet Home (Atleast for now)

We moved into our new place about 6 weeks ago and I am finally feeling moved in and mostly settled. Now that I have most everything put away I am feeling hopeful that we will make it through this last year of Law School with out going crazy. I am excitedly counting down the days until Scott graduates and enters the workforce. Anyway here is a quick tour of what i have been working on this past 6 weeks.
Our Living Room
- I am planning on recovering the pillows in a brown and red floral, but we will see

The Dinning Area
I managed to get that white plastic toy thing out of the room so it looks a little better since I took this picture.

The Kitchen and Logan's Favorite Room

Emma's room
- It came painted this blue color so I painted her bed and shelf a Cherry Soda pink and created the EMMA over the bed. I lucked into finding the Kitty bedding and curtains that Emma just loves.

This is the shelf I painted. I also upholstered the back with a cute in bunny print.

The boys Room / Play room
-This room is wall to wall toys. It came painted the darker green color I added the lighter green and the blue stripe.
You can't see it in the crib, but finally finished Logan's baby quilt this summer and I LOVE it.

I hand quilted the blocks with a cute saying and and snails

The quilt reads "Snip of snails, puppy dog tails, that what little boys are made of. Logan Scott Hilton"
Well so there you have it. A snap shot of the 3 bed, 2.5 bathroom townhome we will be in for the next year.

I had no idea you were this much of a Susie Homemaker and that you could sew!! Everything looks great, especially Logan's blanket.

That plastic dollhouse in Emma's room? Yeah. Pretty sure there's one just like it in my closet.
