Free Family Fun at Tracy Aviary

Friday the kids and I picked Scott up a little early from work and went to the free day at Tracy Aviary. It was a first for the kids and I. Alan was very excited about seeing the King Vulture, the vultures were so big they didn't seem real. We also saw a Cookaburra eat a mouse whole. That was a little weird because first he hit it on a tree repeatedly (even though it was already dead) and then slide the whole thing down its throat.
The kids were really excited that we were going to go see Daddy's work to pick him up. Then when we got into Scott's office Alan said "This room it really boring." The office was redeemed a little because it is on the 6th floor in down town Salt Lake so it had a cool view and the people below looked like "robot dolls."

Checking out the birds

Fun! I remember going there as a kid. You were lucky to see the mouse get eaten. I don't remember ever seeing anything like that! And yay for free day! Can't beat that!
